The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Fighters Group

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a wide array of characters, and a gripping narrative showcasing divine entities, demons, and dark forces growing in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Spoilers for the latest installment of Campaign 4 are included.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

Episode 3 concluded with a huge suspense moment and presented the first table of heroes who will split off from the main group to begin their independent quest, apart from the other two tables.

The Soldiers table consists of the determined fighter (played by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura), the fierce warrior (the cast member), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

The Reason for Division

Given a large ensemble, it was obvious from the beginning that maintaining everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

That’s why, the initial installments of this story serve as an Prelude, intertwining the characters’ stories before dividing into three distinct groups: Warriors, Schemers, and Explorers.

What Defines the Soldiers Table

As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for participants who are drawn to a traditionally charged battle-oriented narrative style where diplomatic options are few and far between.

At first glance, characters like the reluctant priest the cleric might look unsuited, but the developments of the latest installment demonstrate why these specific adventurers are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

For one thing, the team has a clear idea where to head next after a intense first encounter with the enemy group.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose passing kicked off the story’s plot—manipulated the enemy for his own means, invading the hidden lair, assaulting the rogue, and swiping all the enchanted items to sell off.

The traitor then paid off his obligations and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, above Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each character has a personal reason to exit Dol-Makjar:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and trusted friend, seeks retribution.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows the northern area and advises that it is a hostile location.
  • The warrior and The cleric, having resisted his house’s orders to execute the fighter and instead freed him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their reputation as important members in House Halovar could assist the party reach places they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character vowed a life debt to The savior for his deliverance and will now accompany him wherever.

Wanted and Hunted

Lastly, all of them are wanted by the rulers that rule the setting for a multiple motives, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • Thimble and The hero are known criminals.
  • The warrior and The healer betrayed the influential house and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the clan.

This leaves them no alternative but to journey toward the northern region in search of Casimir.

Future Episodes

From episode three’s post-show segment, we find out that the Soldiers table will be absent the following episode, leaving the other eight cast members to form the Explorers and Strategists groups.

Audiences can look forward to learning which adventurers will be where in the story’s last Overture episode, available to watch on October 24.
